University of Manchester Delegation Visited Antai College 2026-07-03

On July 3rd, Richard Cotton, Director of International Development at the University of Manchester, Sherry Fu, Director of the China Centre, and Di Yang, Head of China Partnerships, visited the Antai College of Economics and Management at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Dean Fangruo Chen, Vice Dean Xi Qu, and Vice Dean David Sang attended the meeting.

 

Dean Fangruo Chen extended a warm welcome to the delegation from the University of Manchester. Both parties looked back on the history of the joint DBA program, shared recent development achievements from their respective colleges, and explored new directions for future cooperation.

 

Richard Cotton introduced that Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the University of Manchester have recently signed a joint PhD training framework agreement, establishing a solid strategic partnership at the inter-university level. He looks forward to further deepening the cooperation between the two universities at the business school level. Dean Fangruo Chen expressed that there is broad potential for collaboration in areas such as overseas study tours, executive training programs, and joint doctoral training.
